Our World, YOUR Message

Sunday 10 October 2021 @ 11:00 am - 2:30 pm

St Andrews Botanic Garden invites you to join us for a special FREE event packed with activities and stalls from organisations including Nature Scot, University of St Andrews, Transition, Men’s Shed and lots more!

We’re inviting our local community to join us and speak up on biodiversity loss and climate change ahead of the COP15 and COP26 summits.

Throughout the event we’ll be creating a Message Tree, inviting you to share YOUR message to politicians about the environmental issues that matter to you. These will be sent to the UK government and released as an article highlighting your messages in the media.

Take part in an apple pressing ‘Juice Off’ and make your own apple juice! Bring along apples if you have them and a carton to take your juice home!

Within the relaxing setting of the botanic garden, listen to poetry readings from author and climate activist Léa Weimann and let your creativity flow! Running at 12.30pm and 1.30pm

Discover the fascinating projects taking place in the gardens through guided walks from our Director Harry Watkins at 11am and 2pm.

We can’t wait to see you!
